One Fan Starts with a Plan...
Childhood Beginnings
Growing up in a sports-mad community in Northern England, Daniel Bamber became football obsessed. What he lacked in natural playing ability, he made up for in passion and knowledge of the game.
In the summer of '92, his grandfather saved coupons from the Today newspaper in order to gift Daniel the FA Premier League Handbook. This book previewed the soon-to-be-launched, rebranded top division of English football. Most critically for a young Daniel, it provided a taste of what the football experience could and would go on to be.
An imagination was sparked...

Obsession Develops
While Daniel's main sporting obsession was always football, he had also developed a fandom for tennis, boxing, rugby union, F1 and many other sports.
Over the years, Daniel had made many friends across the globe through a shared sporting passion. It became clear that it was this passion that bonded all fans— regardless of whichever sport they followed.
Whether it be NFL fans in Philadephia, La Liga fans in Barcelona or Rubgy Union fans in Gloucester, they all had one thing in common—the passion for their sport and their teams.

"Why Is It This Way?"
Moving to Australia in 2013 highlighted a major flaw in how sports and sports teams attract new fans. There was Daniel, keen to throw himself into Australian sporting culture, yet no sport nor team had marketed themselves to him on his level.
Sports and sports team marketing largely assumes an accepted level of prior knowledge, engagement and understanding of a given sport. An approach that totally falls flat with new audiences.
It became clear to Daniel that sports and sports team marketing was fundamentally flawed in attracting new fans.

Bringing the Fans
A lifetime's sporting obsession parlayed with an established marketing career made the next step obvious. THREE 30 was launched.
THREE 30 possesses and continually cultivates an in-depth, personal and psychological understanding of sports consumer audiences across the globe.
By fostering such an intimate comprehension of these complex audiences, we are in a unique position to design and drive successful experiences towards them.
